The Rebel Pro gloves met my expectations in terms of protection, grip and comfort. The advantage it has is its grip and fit to the hand, it helps when catching the ball, Above all, what caught my attention were the finger protectors, I felt much more comfortable with them, they adapted very well to my hands. What is the film on the catching surface for and how do I remove it?
On the gloves with a film on them, those are German Contact Latex. The film is there to protect the palm of the glove.
It should be carefully removed before first use.
For which surface/use are these goalkeeper gloves suitable?
Gloves are always best for gentler surfaces such as grass, although grass damages gloves as well. Most of us these days play on turf or synthetic grass, which really damages the gloves more quickly because of how rough the surface is.
